We would like to announce that our Stable Manager Loren Hopkins will now be transitioning into the role of Head Coach and Trainer at Sweetgrass Equestrian. We would like to extend our extreme gratitude for all the hard work and dedication that Loren has put in over the last few years helping build Sweetgrass Equestrian become the stunning facility that it is today. As many of you know, Loren is an incredibly talented rider, who is once again part of the National Dressage Development Squad. In her new role at Sweetgrass Equestrian she will be able to take on more students and realize even more of her riding aspirations. For Loren, the sky’s the limit! We would also like to take this time to introduce everyone to Whitney Walsh who is our new Stable Manager. Whitney joins us as our new hands-on working manager, who will also be living on property starting from February 4th. Whitney comes to us with many years of experience in the equine industry. She graduated from Olds College with a diploma in Equine Business and has trained internationally in Spain for a year. Whitney was the manager at Stonehill for two years, and has owned and operated her own equine transport company. Whitney is an avid horse owner and rider and we are excited to have her on board and welcome her into the Sweetgrass Equestrian Family.
